In 2017, we witnessed the ongoing refugee crisis in Calais and the unchecked hateful rhetoric from political and media elites. It was something we couldn’t ignore.

So we created NEXGEN CORP — a piece of design fiction that imagines a future where the words of today become the products of tomorrow.

A chastity belt based upon the quotes from Geert Wilders and Milo Yiannopoulos that refugees are rapists.

The ‘Plague Protector’

A plague mask based upon an article from the Telegraph that claimed refugees are bringing a plague with them.

The ‘Refugee Repellent’

A bug spray based on quotes from David Cameron and Katy Hopkins that refugees are like a swarm of bugs.
